My 933i is tripping my house circuit breaker at higher speeds. I think there is more resistance in the belt (It's never been serviced).

When a running belt has excessive wear, it creates a lot of friction which causes the drive motor to work harder. When the drive motor works harder it will start overheating. If the belt is not lubricated periodically, it will ruin the deck, the drive motor, and cause other electrical problems such as tripping the breaker [after a while, the circuit breaker on the treadmill will need to be replaced.

It is suggested to lubricate the belt monthly. At this point, you may need to replace both your deck and your running belt.

Carpet washer keeps tripping main switch

You may be pulling too many amps for the circuits in your house, or the breaker could be old and need replacing. There may also be GFCI breakers that trip when there is a sudden rush of current, like a large motor starting.
See if you have GFCI breakers for the outlets you have tested, or the one that keeps tripping.
Check the amperage of the breaker(s) that trip and check the amperage of the machine. If they are close you may be risking overloading the circuit.
If your house is old and the wiring is good (and can easily handle the amps), you may consider changing the breaker to a new one of the SAME RATING. NEVER REPLACE A BREAKER WITH A HIGHER AMP RATING (same with fuses). They are designed to be the weak link, and going up in rating will make the wiring the weak link and is a major hazard.

I have a Ntl 1094 Track C 1900 and the problem i have is ; the drive motor for the belt trips a breaker in the house breaker box. The belt will start and run for approx 5 seconds and the the breaker...

first check and see what the circuit is rated at. it you have too many thing on that circuit(light,tv,etc) this will trip your breaker because of the amp draw of the treadmill. nordictrack recommends a dedicated circuit of 20amp. you may nned to have a circuit put in with 12/2 wire

Thermal overload on motor keeps tripping around speed of 3.2 when being used. Will run at 11 for 5 minutes without anyone on belt. House breake does not trip in either case

I would check out the condition of your belt and deck.

It is suggested to lubricate the belt every month. At this point, you may need to replace both your deck and your running belt.

How can u tell if the breaker is the problem ,it seems like the breaker still clicks in and out with some resistance and has stays clicked in

Best way would be to clamp an amp-meter on and check draw at time of tripping. If it's been tripping often, that will tend to weaken it. Testing incoming voltage as well to be sure voltage is good is wise as well. If you have low voltage to begin with, that will cause higher amp draw on all circuits.

Hello! have a welso cadence m5 treadmill have a fault when starting it.belt tries to move then blows plug fuse.or trips house electrics any info would be appreciated kind regards l.harris

hi, firstly when ever you start the treadmill let it run free without you standing on top, give it a quick blast on max speed for 30sec or so. then stop it. never start the belt when your standing on top. the other thing to try is if you are using an extension wire unroll the whole thing.and last on the front of your machine at the bottom where the power cable goes in there should be a circuit breaker make sure this it switched on. and regards to the whole house power going off. in your main circuit board change to fuse to a higher amp/volt. hope i have helped.

A Higher rated Circuit breaker will not solve the problem if is not tripping now and putting in a higher rated breaker could lead to the point where the wiring itself is overloaded without the breaker tripping.
From your description, I think the problem lies where the wiring is attached to the back of the wall outlet. It may have been installed improperly and over time a resistive connection has developed, getting worse as time goes on and caused a noticeable voltage drop, as well as getting hot, when a decent current is being drawn. With the breaker off remove the wall outlet and any evidence of over heating should be readily visible. Cleaning and reterminating should solve the problem. If the connection at the wall outlet is OK, then a similar problem could have occurred where the wiring is attached at any other wall outlets in the same circuit or at the circuit breaker end of the circuit.

Circuit breaker trips after 10 minutes

could be a weak breaker,or poor high resistance connection from panel to dryer plug, then have someone check the current draw on the dryer while operating and see if it's within specs of the machine tag, if it's higher than that you may have a defective motor or heating element to case causing a higher than normal current draw

Iron tripping my electric

Check the power label on the unit to see if it is indicating a higher requirement than what your circuit breakers and house wiring is rated for. I have seen some professional equipment indicating 20 amps, and the house power was rated to 15 amps maximum. In this case an electrical contractor had to be called in to replace the wiring and and circuit breaker to meet proper specs. This is expensive!

If the unit is rated under the house power available and the breaker is tripping, then there is obviously a defect in the device and service is required. I have seen heating elements go partialy shorted, or there were thrmostat faults and the device was overheating.

Dryer trips house circuit breakers when I turn it on.

Hello rarakaki,
I assume that you are referring to an electric dryer and that when you run it, it trips the main house breaker. If that is correct, then you may be running too many appliances simultaneously and that will draw curent , beyond the maximum rated value of your house main breaker. It is also possible that your main breaker may be going bad and tripping below it rated current value. I suggest you do the following: Shut off other appliances or electrical equipment in other rooms and then try running your dryer. If it operates and does not trip the main breaker , then the comments stated above are the problem. You may need to have an electrician replace your main breaker and/or change your service to a higher value. Please get back to me if I am incorrect in understanding your problem. Regards,
Rick
