Battertys wont charge light on charger is on mains but orange charging light does not light to indicate that batters are charging and has been left uncharge for 4 months

Some chargers have 2 LEDs (lights), some have one. Both chargers have an LED that is red (or orange) when the charger is charging a battery and turns green when the battery is charged and the charger has dropped back to trickle charge mode or off.
On the charger with two LEDs , the extra LED is normally red to indicate the mains power is connected.

The yellow light means that there still is an amount of charge on the battery, meaning that it isn't fully discharged. The red light means that it is partly discharged and you can charge it up.

I'm having the same problem where it won't take a charged. If you left it with a dead battery for say 6 months, it probably ruined the battery. You should have a charger for house current and car voltage charger. I guess your dead in the battery like me. I'm taking it to Battery Plus to check it out. It only had a 1 year limited warranty. there is 3 possible problems i think here, one the conection to computer is faulty, 2 the battery it selfs is busted wont hold its charge, 3 there is a switch that decides charge and no charge on main board and its faulty, if its number 3 its a big problem very hard to replace if you have warenteee that is your safest bet or search ebay for a secound hand board, 2 try another batter to see if it holds the charge, 1 wiggle the conection to see if you see any charge goign to batter at any one time, is all i can say to help you here. hope this helps

Replace the batters and used the correct battery charger, Not a car charger.

take out the batter and clean the copper terminals with a sharp knife, plug into the charger if still not working leave for 30 seconds and re-try, it took me four attempts.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either of this 3 things: Either the problem is the battery not being able to charge anymore(bettery would need to be replaced), or the charger does not give any charge to the batter(recommend try another charger), or last would be the console charger port( would need to replace console, or repair charger por,not recommended)

if the light indicates but its not charging. one other thing you can do is a soft reset.take out your SIM card and batter for 30 seconds then replace the SIM card, and hold on to the R button and at the same time replace your battery, your phone should turn on and restart twice. but it will come on.
