Looking to buy an in dash dvd player in the U.S but need the region code and how to unlock it so it will play dvd's for the U.K any ideas please?

I´ve just bought over the net a new Kenwood DVD player (KVT 819) and it is supposed that its arriving home by Dec 22th or close, I downloaded the manual and I saw that it is coded for Region 1 and I live on region 4, what can I do? is there some way to change the region for the DVD?

I have the DNX9980HD and I have the same problem.
I'd like to play "region 4" dvd but it plays only region 1/all.
Does anybody can help me?

I bought the kvt-617dvd player off of ebay and and the seller forgot to include the password , and i have it all installed and need to know how to unlock password

You can call their company and mabye one of them can come down to your home and unlock it for you, or they'll tell you that you can just reset it by hitting a certain code of numbers or buttons

Dont know the security code for kenwood kvt 617 dvd unit how can i unlock the code

a new eprom chip has to be installed,and proof that you did not steal the set.
best way for your tv not to get stolen is to leave a post it note that it is locked.
it is like passwording a computer,the hard drive needs to be formatted.

Kenwood kvt-717 DVD..code

Have Kenwood KVT-717DVT.
It will uncurl and open screen and show only one screen. It's on "standby". The one screen shows the touch buttons "Audio", "Set Up" and "SRC". These touch button will not perform any functions.
I changed Motorhome's house batteries and this is the problem that occured.
Need the backup camera. Any solutions?

I cant unlock my kvt-617dvd

find the person who u bought the unit from either they set the code or a person did who they got it from, it should be a 4 digit numbered code, if you can't get the code u might as well use it for a paper weight. if buying a kenwood used the best thing to do is tell them you want to see it hooked up and running or I won't buy it. the very first screen that appears is the code entry if the code has been set. if the code hasn't been set, this screen should not appear. do this asure yourself, i do.

the wireing off the brain is connected wrong, ok look at the wires and now disconnect your remote wire from the amp remote now connect the second blue wire to the remote wire going to the amp, now your sound should be right
