Fini BSC 20 compressor how to reset hour counter

Usually you can't reset an hour counter, as it is designed to report total hours of runtime on a machine -- much like an odometer tracks total mileage on a vehicle. Instead, write down the number of hours displayed when you perform service on the machine, and calculate how many hours will be showing when the next maintenance is required.

My maintenance light on my prelude is Orange what could it be?

It's reminding you that you're coming up on a service interval. Match current mileage with owners manual recommended maintenance for said mileage.

How do you reset the maintenance light on a 2008 four runner

Identify that it is indeed the maintenance light that is on.

With the car off, insert key into the ignition and turn the key to the on position without starting the vehicle.

Change to odometer so it reads the total miles and not the trip mileage. See the blue arrow in photo for the location of the button to change odometer from trip mileage to total mileage.

Hold the reset button until the maintenance light goes out.

How to turn off the maintenance requr light

Most newer toyota's are reset by
A. Making sure that your tripometer is set to the odometer reading (telling you total mileage of the vehicle) THIS IS WRONG. The setting should be on trip NOT total.
B. Turning your vehicle off
C. Holding down the trip reset button while turning key to on position (do not start).
The mileage should turn to dashes that flash. The dashes will dissappear one by one. Once they're all gone you should notice that your maintenance light has been reset.

What does it mean when light comes on service performance

The SERVICE PERFORMANCE light is to let you know you vehicle is due for maintenance service. The light is set to light by mileage not set because there is something wrong. Your owner's manual will have what maintenance service should be done. Or if you let me know how mileage is I can get the information. Here is the procedure for resetting the light.ddae6e5.png

I have a code that appears in my mileage box.

is it just that you have went past your service (oil change) by 100 miles

if the number only grows neg the more you drive i would guess that you need to tell them to reset your maintenance light

Maintenence light

I get many calls a week for this procedure...
This is really easy! Follow these directions:

Turn the key ON

Look at the odometer, and verify that it displays "ODO" and the total mileage traveled. If it is on "Trip A" or "Trip B", press the black stick next to the odometer to read "ODO", and the total miles traveled.

Turn the key OFF.

Press in, and HOLD the black trip meter reset button, hold it in.
DO not release it.

Turn the key ON; do not start the car.

Observe the Odometer display. The total mileage traveled will disappear, and you will see 5 dashes, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1 dash, and finally, 5 zeros. Then, the total mileage traveled will redisplay.

Release the black trip meter reset stick.

This completes the reset procedure, and it will be back on in 5,000 miles, to remind you of you next oil change.

Hope this helps!
