It is likely that your transaxle just isn't up to the task. I suggest that you try to operate the machine on the hills prior to going on flat land. This is a huge problem with these machines.

Most headphones are opened at the bit that goes to your ear. Remove the pad and foam and you should see screws. You may have to force the foam off, but you can allways glue it back on when done.

It's difficult to say exactly what the problem is without being able to actually test them with a meter.

Unlike speakers (where you have a separate woofer & tweeter) the headphones only have a single driver per ear, so the loss of high frequency is unlikely to be a driver problem.

The place I would start looking at is the lead. Damage to the lead (or rather the internal conductor) or the plug can often result in a drop out of high frequncies.

The K240's are not discontinued, but you might be able to still pick up a replacement lead.

The headphones work fine, but the sound on the tv won't turn off. Any solutions to this problem. I have a SonyWEGA tv.

I really don't know, because some of the newer gadgets come with fixed volume control due to law suits, ect. Try to see if you can bring you TV menu up and see what the sound setting is.
