Wine Cooler Puchased in 2010. Worked fine until last few months internal temp started rising to 58-60. Then on Monday internal temp went to 68 and there was a small puddle of water on the tiled floor. I called Wine Enthusiast, the vendor, and got nowhere. Even though they actively sell N'Finity, they now say they only do tech support for EuroCave. The N'Finity tech support # they gave is a none working #. I unplugged unit Monday and put dry ice in unit until a local refrig repair person arrived today. He said entire inner part of the unit was wet and condensate cup had overflowed. He suspects evaporator was completely frozen so unit couldn't cool. It's cooling again no, but repair guy doesn't know if circuit board wasn't switching to defrost mode or is defrost temp sensor had gone bad. We agreed I'd keep eye on temp and condensate cup and see if it performs as it should now that it was manually defrosted by turning power off Mon-Wed. Any suggestions on whether defrost sensor or circuit board are the common cause.

We had that problem in 2007, about 10 months after buying it from Costco. It was under warranty so the tech came and changed both sensors. It's worked fine until Feb 11. Now, the lower section ran so cold it froze some bottles. I am looking for a solution to that problem.
This is a 6 or 8 bottle free-standing wine cooler from what I can tell.
I am not having much luck determining if this is a manual defrost type unit or not. Given the inital sales price now of $79.95 I have to assume it is a manual defrost type.
There are a few things that can cause your problem.
1. PTC relay and KliXon thermal overload assy on the compressor.
2. Run capacitor
3. Temp control
You said the fan does not run so I cab not rule out the temp control.
I can not even find a parts break down of the unit.
With no fan running the very first suspect is the temp control but you can at least listen for a CLICK when you cycle it from off to any other position. If you hear a click I would start looking at compressor start / run parts.
If you have access to your units compressor note the manufacturer, hp if stated (1/8hp etc) and Model number.
Then call or visit your local appliance parts supply store with that information in hand. The will have a PTC relay / KilXon thermal overload AND run capacitor that will fit your unit. I am pretty sure that will get you going again UNLESS you have a broken wire somewhere.
The replacement parts are going to run about 50% of the cost to replace the whole thing.
I think the compressor of the cooling refrigerator is not working. Otherwise the refrigerant gas has escaped from any leakage. Please check two above mentioned things. Gautam Kr. mandal, Durgapur
Not sure, but did you clean the filter in the back? Ours has that, and the temp starts creeping up every few weeks until I clean it. But we've never been able to get it below 58 or so, and in the last year, not below 60. I think that's just the nature of this type of cooling. Our house is also at 80. But, can keep it at 60 with the above cleaning.
Here is the breakdown on this machine by temperature - it only works optimally in a room that is 68-70 degrees, which is a little on the cold side:
to actually reach 7 degrees Celsius, the room temp must be 68 degrees Farenheit or below
to reach 9 C, room must be 70 F or below
to reach 11 C, room must be 72 F or below
ETC...
all problems with this wine cellar will be aggravated during the summer months
thanks for the question i think the problem is that its under the counter no air flow to cool the coils try it not under counter thanks the appliance doc
Few things to check here. If the compressor is not running then the problem may be a bad thermostat or the compressor start device (ptc starter). Most common would be the thermostat on wine coolers. Also need to check if the fan is running. If everything is running then you have a sealed system problem. If the fan is the only thing that is not running that will cause a no cool situation.
