In my nokia 3230, mp3 songs do not play in stereo on head phones but fm radio plays stereo. why is it so? is it possible to play mp3 in stereo in my nokia 3230?
You don't have to play stereo on your phones, once you plug your ear/head phone just go ahead and play your music, there's nothing like mono / stereo. It is only radio that has that kind of options. But if your head phone is not working properly, you can change it.

I own a Hyundai Sonata 2012 which has a USB port that worked perfectly for listening to music on my iPhone. ... and it SUCKS. i want to be able to charge my phone via USB while I listen to music. .... I even bought an ALPINE stereo head unit and tried that, as they supposedly work with NOKIA phones, but.
Many car stereos have more new connections that MP3 playerslike the iPod can be connected and played through the stereo. For new carradio, you only need to connect the device and the MP3 player. If you have anold stereo, connect your iPod or connect a 3.5 mm stereo cable or FMtransmitter. Connect iPod directly to the stereo with a stereo cable willresult in better sound quality on the FM transmitter, which can be interruptedor static signal.
AUX 1. Find an AUX port. The AUX is a hole, only small to belocated on your car radio face. (The size is perfect for connecting headphonesor an auxiliary cable.)
2. Connect the 3.5 mm stereo cable into the hole in front ofyour car.
3. Connect the other end into the hole stereo AUX jack /headphone jack on top of your iPod.
4. Connect your iPod.
5. Activate the AUX input. This will be different for eachcar. You may need to field through your input options (e.g., FM, AM, CD, etc.)to access the AUX. Or you may need for your stereo pressing the Menu button. Then, the options for auxiliary input field to the AUX input as possible.
6. Find a song on your iPod and press the Play button whenthe auxiliary input is activated. If you do not hear anything, make sure thevolume on the iPod device and radio. If the iPod is playing your song, you'llsee the song progresses on the iPod screen.
FM Transmitter 1. Find an FM transmitter that is compatible with the iPod.So let your FM transmitter near your car radio.
2. Connect the iPod to the FM transmitter.
3. Tune the radio to your car radio has a frequency thatonly static, then the vote of the same frequency channel using the buttons +and -.
4. Connect your iPod. Then a number and press"Play." Make sure to turn all your volume on your iPod. You should beable to use his music. If not, find a new frequency until you find one thatworks with the iPod and the transmitter.
Depending on the phone there is a cable available for this, some phones also have a FM transmitter device (sold separately) that you tune your radio into it and can play songs from the phone.
Most Nokia phones simply need a 2.5 or 3.5mm headphone jack to 2xRCA Cable, this will plug into the Auxiliary inputs at the back of most stereo systems.
If you mean Nokia 2310, I don't think it's possible to play radio without headset connected to the handset. I don't believe, nokia has ever developed such a model and moreover it's impossible to play radio on nokia phones via bluetooth. If you mean other model, do let me know. Or is there any other application installed on your phone to run the radio? But in fact the handset needs the headset to run radio, so that i'll act as an antenna. Somebody uses the cut-out jack of the headset to play radio. You can try a trick, play the radio, put on the speaker (loudspeaker), then remove the headset, if it's working you are lucky. But even with Nokia N95, it's not working.
If you are sure that you are asked a code to access the radio without headset, let me know with more details.
Thanks.
Good luck.

You can get head phone to rca jack cabes Or better yet, go to ebay, look for wireless fm transmitter. They are cheap. I got mine brand new for $1 plus shipping. Now I can hook the transmitter up to my mp3 player and play the sound through any fuzzy radio station and you can listen anywhere. Or get the head phone -to-rca jack plugin from amazon.com
the radio and mp3 uses one audio amplifier, check if you have loaded your music with mp3 songs, if not load with mp3 songs. if songs used to play and just stopped playing, then follow these steps,
i does your display show song playing, if it does then your set is fault, and if it doent and display unsuppoted, load with mp3 songs.
ii if it was playing and just stopped, than take it to a tech, who can open it and check the change-over switch, or selector of that set.
