Hi, Don't know the make and model of your safe but this advice works for sentry safes,if it doesn't help you get back to me with a make and model: If you need to know how to put batteries in, Turn the electronic lock clockwise ( to the right) from the 12 o'clock position to the 2 o'clock position which opens it so you can put in 4 fresh AA batteries replace the assembly by turning it to the left from the 2 o'clock back to the 12 o'clock. enter your combination and check for the green light.
