I have a new tide rover. Within 3 weeks of purchasing it got fog and moisture in the insie of the screen. I took it in and they said it was from hot water. I had worn in the shower only at mild temps. They fixed it. Two weeks later same thing happended. They fixed again and said not to wear int he shower. Then I was washing my hands with warn water and it happened again. I am in talks to replace the watch but they dont really want a bar of it. I bought this expen watch as it is a sports watch and paying almost $500 you expect that you would be able to wash your hands in warm waer and have a mild shower. No where on there info or site doies it say dont use int he shower. It only says extreme temps over

Anyone else had this problem? When I asked the retailer he said of cause you can wear it in the shower. I wasnt sure so asked two more retailers in diff countries. They said the same and they had never heard of this prob before. Then yesterday I asked a fourth who said Yeah he had about 6 Nixon watches returned over last few months all with same problem. Anyone share any info.
If it does not say water resistant, it isnt. sorry . but hope they repace it.
well then get your money back. it does not work. trading standards would help you. get a proper one. but if you like the style ask them to change it for you. it really should not do that. ask fro travel expence as well to the shop to return it. my dad always did and usually got it. cause a fuss. liz
tell them you are taking up surfing. need it to work. you might latter its not a fib.
hope it turns out well for you. its so disapointing when things like that happen. do not forget to score my marks for me please.

it is water rsistant surfing/diving watch to 100m deep.
just sent it back to Nixon NZ. Will know in a week what the story is.
Interesting, the guys in the retail shop who sent it back for said they have found this to be happening more and more lately with people in the shower. They said in the first few years they never had this prob with Nixon watches that were waterproof..
