This is new to me , don't know if i'm moving around here the correct way, 1980 lincoln mark 6. 5.8 EEC111 system with 2700VV carb, no spark , replaced ignition module, coil, crank sensor, parked car 10 yrs ago in heated gar, can computer lose memory without battery for 10 yrs?
I can not answer the question about the internal module battery. But wanted to suggest that when you changed the crank sensor you might want to lightly clean off the rust on the crankshaft pulley damper. The pickup sensor for the crankshaft needs to detect the magnet in the damper to fire the pulse. You have 10 years of rust build-up on that part.
I learned of this condition through working with old lawmmowers and tillers. In the off season the crank damper would rust and the engines would not fire. Sanded the parts and instantly there was spark to the system,

I noticed you replace the crankshaft sensor, but not the CAMshaft sensor.
The Ignition module takes the input of both sensors to tell the coil when to energize.
This sensor should come up as an error code when you attach a obd reader.
Even if your light is not on - there may be a code. If it is not your vehicle originally, some people pull the bulb!
SOURCE: car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)
Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.
SOURCE: 1996 S-10 cranks but no fire
did you check to see if fuel pump is pumping. fuel filter isnt clogged is it? but you're sure there is no spark. because if there is spark it could be air flow problems.
and you changed the ignition switch so that's not it, how about the starter. is there any noise coming from the starter when you turn key? if it isn't lined up right.
there has to be spark if you did what you said take off a wire at night and try it . electricity to start goes, ign switch battery starter(is there a relay on s10s cant remember), the alternator is here also.to coil/distributor to wires to plugs to gasoline
also it could be the wires coming from the battery , check them for corrosion. if they are really corroded could be problem. and make sure your ground is good contact. ive seen corrosion inside wires causing no spark.
just a few ideas to check.
SOURCE: have no spark, have replaced crank angle sensor,
what about the distributor cap?? do you have a spark from the centre lead that comes from the coil??These vehicles also have a factory immobilisor ------ do you have power to one side of the coil??i have a 94 sovereign 4lt as well and a workshop manual somewhere ?? looks like i will have to dig it out
