Iriver won't let me upload from CDs and transfer....

Firstly, i had to wipe my Pc and start again with all new drivers etc. This now means all the music that was in my Media Library have been erased. I've installed Iriver from the CD i got originally with it, however it won't let me sync everything thats on my Iriver to my Media Library.

Secondly, when i try and add new music on via CD, it won't recongise the CD does not play automatially when i've asked it to! it will only say 'Play audio via Iriver'.

It now means i'm stuck with the mucis on my Iriver wihtout being able to transfer songs to it!

can anyone help with this?

thanks

Best way to use the H10 20gb is by creating a directory on your hard drive with your desired mp3 format files. Use ripping and encoding software with your existing audio cds.
Connect the h10 to the PC via the UMS trick (see this website).

Using a file directory on your pc, drag and drop the mp3 files from your pc to the MUSIC file folder on the h10. Install and run the EASY10 playlist creator software on your pc to organize the new files on your iRiver player. Disconnect the USB connection and enjoy!

On my iriver spinn the toch screen has broken, meaning i can not uplaod data to it. i was wondering if there is a way to over ride this for me to be able to upload data to it?

There is a way to do this: after you connect the usb cable to the iriver spinn and the two options appear, click the wheel to select file transfer or back to just let it charge.

I can not upload song in my e100.......... explain me all process of upload song in my ipod & not open in my computer.....

The iRiver E100 uses iRiver Plus 3 to manage music, pictures, and more. iRiver Plus 3 can be downloaded for free here:

http://local.iriver.com/mas/download/downloadView.asp?selectPart=cateCode&findWord=01&sno=852&page=1&cateCode=01

  1. Insert the installation CD into your PC to display the installation process screen.
  2. Select iriver plus 3 and click the Install button.
  3. Complete the installation process by following the on-screen instructions.
  4. Turn on the iRiver E100, and then plug it in to the computer using the USB cable.
  5. Open iRiver Plus 3.
  6. Select the desired files / folders in your PC and drag & drop Music, pictures, etc. to the drive which appears as the product.
If you would like, there is a manual available here:

My iRiver T30 has always had difficulty communicating with my PC, and has only once successfully been able to upload files onto my pc, after MANY attempts. Any suggestions?

There may be a driver issue as I've personally had problems with my iRiver IFP mp3 player and would try to load the driver every time I connected the player to my Windows based computer.

Assuming you have a Windows based operating system, I would completely uninstall the iRiver Music Manager in add/remove programs in the control panel, restart the computer and try reinstalling the program again.

I was trying to turn off my iriver, but now it is frozen in the shutdown screen. Prior to that I had it connected to the computer, with the iriver software running. It tried to read the iriver, got stuck...

connect Iriver back to PC...go to my computer open Iriver and copy the software only (hidden files too) you do have your files on the pc and or the cd's.....because you are about to format the Iriver (this will erase everything) open a temp folder to hold software on PC.......copy/paste software to .......now go back to my computer right click to format the Iriver . once format is complete copy/paste the software back from PC to Iriver...now copy/paste all your mp3 files from PC/cds to Iriver.......its like new all over again

Cant find free download of iriver plus 2

Hi,
Here's the iRiver Plus 3 software:
http://www.iriver.com.au/iriver/uploads/software/iplus3_setup_full.zip

It's compatible with XP and below. I haven't come across a Vista driver for it yet, but you might be able to right click on it and hit Properties and select XP compatibility in Vista, I don't know if it'll work though.

Hope this helps
