Wbr 2310? I just purchased a new dlink wbr2310 on Sunday, my old dlinkwbr1310 seemed to be okay then while I was using my laptop my computer shut down and upon re starting I couldn't connect to the internet, when looking at the Local Area connection icom the message was "A network cable is unplugged" trying to figure out what might be wrong, went to the store and purchased another dlink (on sales person advise, which he said is all I need) so I bought the wbr2310 but I still have that message, can you help me solve this?

I had a similar problem when the power goes out or surges on my 2310. What I did was replace the network cable that connects the Dlink to the 'puter and it worked for me. But I'm still at a loss as to why it works this way. Could be the cheap cables. It was a cheap fix.

if you have belkin router
http://192.168.2.1

D-link WBR-2310 Stop working

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.
