It could be fuel pump or carburetor. Make sure tank valve is open (if equipped), remove fuel line from carb and carefully have someone turn engine over, if you get a good stream coming from line you know pump is good, then you know problem is in carburetor. Hope this helps.

Replace the spark-plug, check the quality of the fuel(gas that is mixed or was stored more then three months is stale and wont fire correctly) make sure the fuel and air filter not clogged. If there is no change then your problem may be more technical, a nest may be restricting the govenor or you missed something with the carb and there still is debre causing it to stall.

Try removing fuel bowl under carb and cleaning it. Junk and condensation can collect there. I had same problem. Did that and problem fixed.

Hi..my name is Keith...this is kind of a hard one to answer...when im not there...but i would suspect weak fuel..i would drain the tank and put fresh in and a new fuel filter..and if that dont help..then you might need a carb cleaning or overhaul..i hope this has helped..if not..write me back

I had the same problem. If it is a 2 cylinder, remove the valve covers. On one side, the rocker arm had slipped off of the push rod. It was real loose. Put the rocker arm back on the push rod and tighten it down. I think this will do the trick.
