If you do buy this phone, you can download the English-language manual from the Motorola site. Pressing "3" at the first prompt will set the language to English on most versions of this phone. If you've already set the hour, etc, I'm not sure what to do, I'm still looking it up.
I've got two of these phones. For one of them, I did not know to press 3 at first startup and now I'm stuck. For the second one, the first button I pressed was 3, and it switched to english just fine.
