Incanto Sirius - grinds but cannot hear coffee getting ground

My Saeco Incanto Sirius was working perfectly until last month. Now, I can make pre-ground coffee, but when using the grinder, it does not make coffee. It makes noise as if the grinder is grinding the coffee but I cannot really hear the coffee getting ground. I don't think the ground coffee is getting into the brew unit. I get water out instead of coffee. Very frustrating. Could there by a jam in the mechanism that pushes out the ground coffee into the brew unit. The unit is under warranty, but I have to mail it to Ohio and pay shipping myself. WTF!

The chute is clogged or the grind is too fine on the machine. To clean chute remove the brew unit and check to the right, clean chute.

Message door is opened Saeco Sirius

i've refurbished 3 of these just last month. this is a pain to fix when it happens imho. get your newelectronx 102 and grab the oval screwdriver. we need to get our hands dirty.
pull out the brew group and you should see a spring directly above the door. somewhere above the brew group funnel. use a paper clip or reach a flat head for the tool kit in there and remove coffee ground that is causing this problem. unjam that micro switch sensor and viola your this message should disappear.

I have the Saeco Incanto Sirius. It makes grinding noises but does not dispense coffee, just hot water.

The grind might be too fine or the grind chamber is blocked, remove brew unit and check the door covering the grind chute to make sure it is clear, or adjust towards coarse about 2 numbers.

Incanto sirius states grinder blocked. Took apart

I own a Saeco Incanto Deluxe. It employs the ceramic grinder that has worked flawlessly for 3-4 years. One day it stopped and "Grinder Blocked" appeared. I removed the entire grinder unit, cleaned it thoroughly and calibrated the grinder. This did not fix the problem. After many similar attempts, I found the entire grinder assembly (motor, grinder etc.) online for $149.00. Install of the new assembly took me five minutes and it works perfectly. Please note that the ceramic grinding blades (there are two round ones that must be aligned corrrectly) cost $40 a piece (same site where I found the entire assembly for $149). My suggestion--save yourself the agony and replace the assembly if cleaning and calibration fails.

Saeco Easy dispenses first, then grinds

Hi,

I think you have pre-brewing on your machine, if you have a Sirius then you have these settings in the menu under coffee settings.

I don´t think this is on Saeco Easy, only if you will make two cup of coffee, then the machine will pre-grind the beans for the second cup.

Water Leaking and not coming out from the nozzel

Thank you thank you!!! This problem has been irking us for months! The people in our company adore the coffee the Saeco Incanto Sirius makes so we just lived with the leak. The fix was such a simple thing, heh.

I used a cable tie to clean out the hole. The hole is very small - a design mistake, I'd say - and when I unclogged it I could see the cable tie coming out and coffee sludge flowing into the drip tray.
