Deffault language is japanese and i cant set it to english

Found this in Note Owners Manual, hope it helps.

Language set-up mode
In order to enter the language set-up mode proceed
as follows:
1) Make sure the audio unit is switched off.
2) Press and hold buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously.
3) Press the power button and the radio will switch on.
4) Release all the buttons and the display will show
LANGUAGE.
5) Press the << or >> button and the language
setting display will change as follows:
ENGLISH ? FRENCH ? GERMAN ? ITALIAN
?DUTCH?SPANISH?POLISH?ENGLISH
Once the language has been set, switch off and
switch on again the audio unit by pressing the power
button.

Try to find someone who understand japanese language to reset that. If you dont find anyone?. The easiest way is to reformat your unit.

Best to call your dealer on this one.May have to replace stereo or learn japanese.

You can set the language as either English or Japanese, though some games can only have Japanese as the language setting.

If this was installed as ajpanese machine then you really can't change much at all. You go to control panel and simply set the language to english. That will change menus and so on but it won't change anything that is hard coded such as programs and most of windows. The big problem is that Japanese kanji script is not really compatible with English type languages. Japanese Chinese and other asian typed languages are the worst ones. Something like french or German is much easier to do and generally you get more stuff to switch language.

Basically it boils down to if you want to change it over you really will need to re-install windows using a English install disk. Not being able to read the language you wil lhave a real time getting to the control panel and the restore disk or partition is probably Japanese. I have tried this but always found it was easier to use the english disk instead now. You just never get enough switched over to make it worth the hours to switch everything that will switch. There is always a menu or program that will be in the original language.

Press the MENU button to bring up the main menu. Select Settings 1 (toolbox icon and digit 1). Select the "A" icon. Select the desired language.

Press the Menu button, the one the top left of the control panel. Look for an icon shaped like a tool box, and press the central button on the control panel. Select the category that has an icon that looks like a hammer, that's the Main Settings. The second option there is the Language Settings, press the central button on it to get a list of available languages, English should be there, just get over it, and press de Central Button again and there you are.
