So here's the problem that I'm trying to help my boss figure out with his 3G iPhone with however many gigs on there: He wants me to sync the iPhone to the computer in order to transfer back and forth contacts. BUT, here's the thing, sometimes he wants to delete the contact on MS Outlook (which is the program we're using to sync the whole thing with) and he asks me if it would delete his contacts on his iPhone once after deleting the contacts on the MS Outlook. Of course, I said yes. He says,"There has to be another way without it deleting the contacts when syncing for new contacts." So now, I'm stuck if anyone can help me A.S.A.P. it would be helpful. Honestly, I don't know what he really wants. He wants to store the contacts on the PC as well as on his iPhone but he wants to delete on the PC from time to time. I dont' get it. What the heck. But yeah. PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOUUUU :)
You can set the iPhone to sync the contacts the way you want, from PC to iPhone. He will have to put the new contacts onto Outlook, not on the iPhone

Oh, what a pity! If you have backup files previously, you can retrieve your contacts on iCloud or iTunes easily, also you can use a professional tool which called iMyfone D-Back to help you. http://www.imyfone.com/iphone-data-recovery
However, if you can not get your lost iPhone back and you haven't backups, it is hard to retrieve your contacts. It seems impossible.
iPhones use a Mini Sim and you open the door with a paper clip folder out or similar object. The slot is on the outside and you will see a small hole where the paper clip can be inserted.Regular size sims will NOT fit in.
Plug your iphone into your computer via usb. open itunes and it should prompt you to do a restore. once restored you can select the most recent backup of your iphone. (the last time you plugged your iphone into your computer it backed up your info) Once selected you itunes will load all of your saved data back onto your iphone.
If you have back up your text messages, you can restore from the backup.
To restore information from a backup, use one of the following methods after connecting your iOS device to the computer with which you normally sync: 1. Right-click (or Control-click) the device and choose Restore from Backup 2. If you have a new phone, you can connect to iTunes and it will prompt to restore from your backup Solution from Apple.com: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
I would take it to the local ATT store and have them do it. It should be free, given that you have moved from ATT to ATT, just on a different phone. Ask more than one store if you get any trouble from them.
