Trying to install the Seagate Dashboard onto my Windows 7 laptop and keep getting the error "E:\Seagate Dashboard Installer.exe is not a valid Win32 application". Not sure what to do. Can anybody recommend something? And does this mean I can't use the hard drive at all - it's brand new out of the box. Thanks in advance!
Could be because it needs to be plugged into a usb3 port. Check the box it came in to see what port it is to be connected to. If you has only just started to happen after a few months then take it back where you bought it. Depends on the connections and how long you've had it!!
