I don't understand the symbols of carrier 505

Hi there, if you know what model it is you can do a google search for the owners manual. There should be a sequence of buttons you can push or hold to reset to factory/default settings.

Since it's a Sears house brand, you can find and download the Owner's Manual at Sears Parts Central.

It locked to security or passcode means go to nearest store and restore it or reset it...If it locked to Network means You need to specify the Network and Country it locked now,you can get the remote I-Phone Unlock service from here

To cancell the alarm mode is described in it user manual [page 21]. It is very difficult to type thos symbols here by this window. Just follow the manual. It says, press alarm mode button either on its control panel or on the remote control until the display shows 'no alarm mode' indications. If you don't have the manual send your email address to me by FixYa. I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. OK.

The coloured buttons on the remote don´t work now so I can´t change the language of the programmes

Sorry don't have a solution for your problem, but I've got one that you may be able to help me with My Remote control, for which I have no user manual, seems to be locked and the buttons won't do anything. I have noticed a key symbol in the bottom right corner and cas only assume it is locked. Anyone know how I can unlock it? Cheers.
