Unplug your cam uninstall any current webcam software restart your computer visit the logitech website - identify your cam and click on the picture http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=405 download the installer. run the installation set up and note the options - you may not want the Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon is a must. Note - you will also need DirectX download to support your webcam - this is probably covered in the installer Connect your webcam when prompted.
be sure you plug-in in your webcam to the usb port of your computer and install the software and driver properly. when chating. if you are using a yahoo, camfrog, msn messenger. you just fing the option that can activate your webcam when you are chating. in yahoo messenger you can find their in the option and then view my webcam and now you can see your viewing your cam. be sure you log in first to yahoo messenger. if you want to taking picture with you're web cam just go to the my computer and find you camera D-link DSB-300 and just double click to open it your cam.
You should un-install yahoo and re-install it , you won't lose any of your contacts ....this in turn will eliminate yahoo as the problem . let me know .

once installed shut down skype and open messenger, you should be able to view webcams from now on, the trick is to only use one at a time because only one program will take over the cam.
