Low power Hi Everyone, My son has a Razor MX 650. We replaced the module and it ran fine for a while but now it can not handle a load at all. The throttle is working. The batteries have never been replaced. Please give me some insight. I know that sometimes the throttle assembly is replaced when the module is replaced, I would prefer to just replace the batteries since I know they are older. Can I assume that since the throttle does work when the wheel is elevated that the throttle assembly is fine?

I have an electric Razor Dirt Quad. It ran perfectly until it rained, now nothing. I replaced the control module and batteries. It turns on but 'low power' light flashes and it does not run what next?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks.

Get out your multimeter and check the TOTAL voltage. You should have 24 volts or 36 volts depending on model. If you don't, take them all of and charge each one on a car charger set at 2 amps. Clean all the battery connectors with a wire brush and also the connectors. Smear them with Vaseline. Also make sure you have the batteries wired in correctly. If don incorrectly, you may be running on 12 volts!

How to take razer apart to replace batteries.

My thanks to everyone who viewed my question. I feel so embarrassed now since I lo0cated the answer accidentally on my own. Here is the answer: When I opened the "trimmer" on the razor itself, lo and behold the answer was already there. It gave the exact answers I had been seeking. It said "For the HGX-1, it requires a PA-650 which delivers 12vdc @ 650mA. I found a compatible charging power transformer which delivers 12vdc @ 500mA and it worked fine in recharging my shaver. So, thanks to each of you for trying to locate the answer for me.

Have you checked that you have power to the coil on cranking? You may also want to check wether you have a good strong spark at the spark plug.It could be an ignition module breaking down.If you have no power to the coil you may need to change the ignition relay. Its close to the battery.
