We just got a Via Venezia espresso maker. When I have the pod filter basket (with the pod) on top of the portafilter, it won't screw into the top. Can I just put the pod in the portafilter?

We have broken the handle on pressurized portafilter for Saeco Via Venezia espresso machine. where can we get replacement?

I don't think the handle is sold separately. Seattlecoffeegear does sells both a bottomless and an unpressurised portafilter for the Via Venezia. Both would be considered upgraded gear vs the pressurized one.

My machine is brand new and the coffee holder is stuck and not coming out inspire of twisting either side... Please help!

Hi
The handle rotates to the left until it stops, then pull down. If the baskets is left, turn the machine off and let it cool. then grab the basket and twist it sideways. If the basket stuck you may be missing a spring in the portafilter itself. It is in the top inside of the silver piece (wire spring).

My Saeco Via Venezia espresso maker broke; the screw that holds the metal filter into the machine will not remain there. What can I do?

HI
There is a large screw in the brew head that your screw screws into. You need to replace the big screw and you should be good to go.

Makeing coffee

No, these machines use a pressurized portafilter to make brewing espresso easier. Be sure your coffee is ground about the fineness of table salt. Just level the coffee in the filter and insert the filter as instructed.

Coffee not pouring through portafilter

if your grounds are tamped down too tight, the steam can't get through it.
