Dial your telephone number from any touch-tone telephone. When the answering system answers, enter the two-digit remote access code (19, unless you have changed it). The answering system automatically announces the number of messages (new or old) if there are any. Hello I was wondering how to use the VM acess with my phone. I want to be able to call from a different number and listen to my messages how do I go about doing so

I have a similar model. You need to configure a remote access code on the phone. Then, when you call your phone, you enter the pin after your message starts.

(From the manual)
Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit's voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations.

Remote access code:
A 3-digit remote access code must be entered when operating the answering system remotely. This code prevents unauthorized parties from listening to your messages remotely. The default
setting is "111".

Important:
To prevent unauthorized access to this product, we recommend that you regularly change the remote code.
1 {MENU} {#} {3} {0} {6}
2 Enter the desired 3-digit remote
access code.
3 {SAVE} {OFF}

Below is a link to the manual. The remote access instructions are on page 35.

Cant get remote access working Binatone Symphony 2210 cordless ph

If you have set up the TAM settings correctly then it seems to be a fault with the machine. I've set up my TAM settings with new pin and I still can't remotely access the messages.

Make sure you are pressing the * key before you enter the default code (as far as I can recall).

HOW TO RETREIVE MY MESSAGE FROM ANOTHER PHONE?

Most answering machines have a 'remote code' to access messages via remote. (from another phone line when you aren't at home.) Look for the manual or look on the bottom of the unit itself.

If you do not see a code for it. Or have the manual, find your model online and the manufacturer should have the user manual online for free. It should provide the code for remote access.

Typically, you call the phone, when the answering machine picks up, you would dial the security code and the answering machine will then start playing your messages.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
