LAG when i try to play Dynasty Warriors 6 on my fat ps2, it lags during game play... i found an option that says it will read the disc at a faster rate,,, should I try this option?

Try clearing your catch and your temporary files.

Or you can download program online that do that for you. Try "Advanced System Care 6". That will make your computer much much faster and better.

The PS2 can't play PS3 games.

The only possible reason for your problem, since your slimline ps2 is STILL reading them (but just a little slow sometimes), is because the lens could hardly read your discs due to dust build up. Try cleaning it using a disc cleaner and letting it spin for like 30 seconds. If this does not fix the issue, then you may have to MANUALLY clean the lens. Open the cover and once you see the lens, get a clean swab or qtip and damp it in an alcohol and gently wipe the lens in a circular manner. Then let it dry and try to play those discs again.

the area codes may not match on your system or you may have a faulty disk. Do any other games have this problem?

dw6 is only made for ps3, buy a ps3 or dont play the game, sorry

Make sure its not a ps3 game as ps3 games dont work on the ps2 console and also make sure there are no scatches on the disc.

maybe it's just the game itself that's screwed up bcuz i have dynasty warriors 3 and 5 and the mutiplayer works just fine the only one that wont work at all is the dw6.

You're stuck not being able to play, you need to get the slim PS2's because they reconverted the discs for a new disc encoding.
