I have a GSS25PSMF BS refrigerator. The top two shelves are freezing food near the back. Do I have to replace the damper or something?

Yes, you will need to replace the Fresh Food Cover Inlet Assembly. A link to the part is below for your convenience. If you need removal instructions, please let me know. The new part will come with installation istructions. It is pretty easy to replace as it is replaced as an assembly.

Cover Inlet Assembly $88.99

The refrigerator is not cooling enough.

You will need remove the screws in the back of the freezer section, check to see if the little fan is turning, if not you will have to replace the fan motor, this is what circulates the air and keep the fresh food side cool.

Milk lunch meats freezing

I have to assume you mean on the top shelf of a refrigerator. If so, then you need to look for the air vent(s) that are usually in the rear of frig compartment either on back wall or under the frig compartment ceiling. These vents are pouring very cold air from the freezer and the air needs to get distributed throughout the frig, however the coldness is falling on the milk or meats that are in the way (getting hit with the cold before the air is disipated within the frig).
Three options: if the air vent(s) have a movable or directional cover, then redirect the air so it blows away from the food on the shelves. If there is no movable cover, perhaps adjusting the freezer control (not the frigerator control) to the next colder freezer setting; this will reduce excess cold flow pouring into the frig. 3rd, make a shield of plastic or metal or cardboard to divert the direct cold flow of the air vent from falling on the upper shelves.

Water reservoir and its lines freeze up. will not despense water.

HI, Make sure the evaporator fan motor in the freezer is running. Check and make sure both of you temperature controls are set to normal settings. YOu're right, it is an air flow problem. Make sure there isn't any frost building up in the freezer. Let me know if any of these help or if I can assist you further.

Thanks

Food is freezing

usually there is an adjustment at the back for the difference between the fridge and freezer compartment. Often is just a vane that blocks freezer air, too much air would freeze the food. Normally you set the fridge thermostat for a normal food temp, then adjust the air to keep the food warmer than the freezer.
