This is how to check your missed calls on your phone.
Press the menu button.
Scroll to call register and press select.
You will see your missed call. Press select to view all your missed calls.

I was having this problem and then realized I had entered my wife's cell number as an emergency number. When I removed it as an emergency number missed calls from her showed up.
