MC9190 WLAN Problem

Hi there! I have a Problem with the WLAN of the MC9190. At the moment the devices monitor is going out i think for energy saving after about 1 minute. If you push the Scanner trigger the wlan is turned of and than reconnect to the networt. This takes a lot of time and makes our work harder as we always must wait till the connection is restored again. Is there a way to force the device to allways keep up the wlan connection? Thanks a lot for every help!

To permanently disable the Suspend Mode on a MC9190:
On your PC, create an empty text file, then type the 2 following lines:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts]
"BattSuspendTimeout" = dword:00000000

Save the file, then change the extension to ".reg". This changes the text file into a registry file.
Copy the registry file in the /Application folder of the scanner gun. Cold boot the device. Your MC9190 will no longer go to sleep mode, or "suspend mode".

To automatically enable the Wireless antenna at startup, create another registry file, then type the 2 following lines:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WLAN]
"InitialState"=dword:00000000
Save the file, and copy it into the /Application folder of the scanner gun. Cold boot the device.

OK, I have the same Issue. To fix that, you have to disable the standby mode. You have to go to the power settings and unchek the power saving time, witch is by default 1 mn .

do the following:

click on the mobile companion icon on the menu bar at the bottom. this is the radio icon.

click on options and from the drop down menu, select regulatory. uncheck the box 802.11d and select the country where you are.

save the options.

from the drop down menu again, select the last option called export and click on the export options button. save the default registry file and you are now sorted.

Cannot enable wlan on aspire 3613 its diabled at moment

First of all check and verify that you have installed the proper driver for the WLAN. You can verify this in device manager.
Go to network settings and check the WLAN whether it is disabled or enabled

Monitor on for a few minutes then blank . if we switch off and on again for one moment display is on then going blank what should i do?

check your monitor settings for power saving modes, perhaps it is just switching into an energy conservation mode (remember that there are settings in control panel, possibly also in the monitor's built in configuration menu, and there may be depending on manufacturer another setting in the cmos settings (usually accessed during power up by pressing the delete key or one of the F keys) Good-Luck

If you turn off your computer then you should turn off the monitor too to save energy.
You can also leave it on standby which uses less energy but we want to save the planet :)
