Hi I have met the same problem, did you fix it finally?
Could you give some suggestion about this?

First of all check and verify that you have installed the proper driver for the WLAN. You can verify this in device manager.
Go to network settings and check the WLAN whether it is disabled or enabled

Activate WLAN at coldboot on MC9190 with the following registry entry (.reg file)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WLAN]
"InitialState"=dword:00000000

check your monitor settings for power saving modes, perhaps it is just switching into an energy conservation mode (remember that there are settings in control panel, possibly also in the monitor's built in configuration menu, and there may be depending on manufacturer another setting in the cmos settings (usually accessed during power up by pressing the delete key or one of the F keys) Good-Luck

skeltonh, Have you connected your L170 to a different "known-good" PC that has ALL power-save and screen saver modes disabled? Have you connected an old monitor to your PC to see if it will act same way as the L170? 12fixlouie

Step-by-step guide for install Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN driver.
1. Download file for Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN from the below link, save it on your computer and unzip.
2. Connect your Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN to computer.
3. Right click on My computer and click Properties. Go to Hardware tab. Click to Device Manager button.
