Hold down power button for about 30 seconds (or until phone recognizes power off), let it shut down.Afterwards, hold power button down maybe 10 seconds, release and let it reboot. If it performs normally, great. If not, check the following page:
I finally had to have them replace the unit. If doing a factory reset does not help, then I would have them replace it. Mine started rebooting infrequently, but then started doing it more often. They didn't waist any time getting my replacement out.
Please make sure you back up all your contacts/email before proceeding. I use Google on my phone through the Outlook option. Google/Outlook syncs all my mail, contacts, and calendar.

To get to the calibraition screen, turn the nuvi off. While
holding your finger anywhere on the screen, slide the Nuvi power switch to ON - then
immediately slide the button to the LOCK position. Do not lift your finger from the screen UNTIL you see the calibration screen (about 15 to 20 seconds).
Use a pencil or other narrow tipped device to touch the calibration points on the screen instead of your fingers for an accurate calibration.
