If it's printing jibberish or "ASCII Garbage" then you probably have the wrong print driver installed. Uninstall the print driver, disconnect the printer, reboot and reinstall the driver plugging the printer back into the PC when the installation software prompts you to.
I have seen that in most of the cases (with lexmark and dell printers)
it is fixed by reinstalling the printer software. Be sure that you
completely remove the older drivers using the cd or using add/remove
programs.
MY DELL 725 PRINT WILL NOT PRINT IN BLACK INK. I HAVE A NEW PRINTER. I EVEN BOUGHT A NEW INK CARTRIDGE AND IT STILL PRINTS IN GREEN ONLY. WHAT CAN I DO TO HAVE MY DOCUMENT PRINT IN BLACK?
