Turn the alarm function off... it is the fourth icon down on left side.. press and hold the menu button down and go down to the dot in circle icon, right arrow and turn it off.

the ff button maybe malfunctioning... but you will need to press and hold the button down for fast forward, else it goes to the next file

may need to clear the machine, this will erase all your files but will reset the recorder... press and hold both the stop and erase button, clear will come on display, arrow over to yes then enter

you may need to send to olympus repair . olympusamerica.com/repair

How to verify that the CMOS battery needs to replace

The CMOS battery is named after the Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor power. The CMOS has the current date and time functions for desktop and laptop computers. It allows the computer to automatically adjust the time, even on computers that are disconnected for long time. When a computer no longer has the date and time and forget it on every boot, the CMOS battery probably needs replacing. Some computers have messages when the battery is weak, while others just lose the current date and time after each shutdown.

Time & Date Errors

1. Turn on the computer. Look in the task bar at the bottom right. Make sure the date and time is set correctly. Double-click the time and click the up or down arrow to switch to the correct time. Click on the arrow next to month to change the month. Click "OK" when finished.

2. Turn off the computer. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and start the machine.

3. Look on the taskbar to see if time was lost and said a strange date January 1, 2000. Replace the CMOS battery, if this is the case.

CMOS Error Message

1. Look for error messages like "CMOS checksum error", "CMOS Read Error" or "CMOS battery failure" when you start your computer. These errors are caused in the machines shut down for several months or when the CMOS must be replaced.

2. Let the computer on for 24 hours. Restart the computer and find the error.

3. Change the CMOS as the return error.
Timer is working but the motor (that spins the piece to make the dough) does not. Is there any security fuse ? Thanks Michel

Hi michel amor

If you are using the timer nothing will happen until the time you set for the breadmaking process to begin occurs. In other words if it 8 am and you want your bread several hours later then your bread machine will do nothing until several hours later. If you don't want to use the timer and you just want to be sure that your paddle turns and kneads the bread go ahead and push the stop button and hold it down until it beeps. Unplug your machine, then plug it back in. Then do this:
----push select
----choose your program ( for example choose #1 basic)
---choose your crust color
----choose your loaf size 1.0, 1.5, or 2.0 pounds
----push the start button
----your machine will start mixing with the paddle
----if your machine is cold it may warm up for about 15 -20 minutes but it will start mixing within 1/2 hour.........hope all this helps

Tempus fugit westminster mantle battery operated clock has 2 buttons under an H and 2 buttons under an M. how do I set the chimes? Amy Howard

I had the same problem but the solution is unbelievably simple. Just set the hands to the time desired by turning the round button on the housing. Now you mmust tell the quartz timer/clock (plastic rectangular mechanism) the same time as you have set the hands. In this way when the hands hit the Quarter hours/half hours and the hours, the electonic chimes will chime the correct time.

Ultra simple. The two hour buttons and two minute buttons represent a 24 hour clock. Example, how to set the clock to 2:50 PM. Easy, change the 2 PM to its 24 hour counterpart, i.e. 14 hundred hours.

Move the hands to 2:55. Push the first button once for 1, push the second button 4 times, push the first M button 5 times, push the second M button 5 times. Move the set button back to run and there you have it. 1455 Hours. Not it should chime correctly. As a tip, use a brand new fresh battery to try this out.

Decora 6124H Timer

Leviton 6124 timer instructions:
Timer comes with plastic protector over display >> remove protector to see display.
Large button is manual override.
After timer is wired, push override to make sure Load turns ON and OFF.

Timer has 3 small buttons located below manual override used for programming
Display is divided into 24-hours with am times on left and pm on right.
24 Hour day is divided into 1/2 Hour segments
Each 1/2 hour must be set for ON or OFF

Start by pushing left-side event-cursor-advance-button and it scrolls down each 1/2 Hour.
Once you arrive at 1/2 hour > make decision if you want timer ON or OFF for that half hour.

Press event-set-reset-button in center to set ON-OFF for that 1/2 hour.

Press center event-set-reset-button and solid black rectangle fills in for that half hour.
Solid black rectangle means timer ON for that 1/2 Hour.

Once solid square is selected, press event-cursor-advance-button and cursor advances again and starts filling in black rectangles for each 1/2 Hour period.
Keep filling in black rectangles for all times you want timer ON.

When you reach 1/2 Hour period you want timer OFF, then press center event-set-reset-button so that no black rectangle is visible for that 1/2 hour.
No black rectangle means timer is OFF for that half hour.

To set current time, use right-side time-advance-button.
Press and hold time-advance and time cursor advances down through the am and then pm hours.
Stop cursor at current time, and timer is ready.

My MPC t2300 laptop wom't turn on.

The Transport T2300 has an internal battery that will run the laptop for several minutes after the main battery goes dead. This feature allows you to save your work and shut down safely. If you run the laptop until both batteries are dead, even a brand new battery can't start the unit again. You have to follow this procedure:
1.Unplug power cord

2. Remove any attached periphal components including the cd rom and/or floppy disk module if you have one. Both remove with a push button switch located on the bottom of the unit.

3. Plug in power cord and charge the unit for a minimum of 24 hours straight. 30 hours is better. This whole time will be spent slowly recharging the internal back up battery.

4. Once that is done, unplug power cord again and reinstall any floppy/cd drives. Plug power cord back in now and charge for at least 24 hours again.

If your backup battery is dead, you can't charge the main battery or turn the unit on. The longer you charge, the better. We had one unit here that had to be on the initial battery backup for 72 hours before it finally took hold. Then, one overnight recharge on the regular battery and all was well.
If you need drivers or manuals for the 2300, all are available on cd at [email protected] for around $9.50 including shipping, handling, and owners manual
