Hi, I purchased a StoreJet removeable harddrive which, according to the manual, shouldn't need a separate driver for Windows XP. However, when I plug it into my computer, my computer detects new hardware but the harddrive never shows up in My Computer. Instead asks to install the hard drive, which cannot be done. Any suggestions? This is Transcend 250 GB Hard drive.
Thank you!
U may got installation cd for storage device.if not download software from www.transcend.uk .........
otherwise try for this..
goto control panel...
then goto add hardware...
overthere check out for connectivity
Well, I also faced the same problem today. It got fixed when I plugged the extra power socket into USB drive.
