RICOH Aficio 150 Paper Jam Reset

If you're talking about the duplexer door not shutting after the paper jam, check if the transfer roller has fallen off into the printer which is preventing the door from closing.

Remove and

first is clean the sensors especially the exit sensor, check also the door switches maybe they are not functioning well so the jam will not be reset

paper jam in aficio hasnt reset . but you must check all doors .it may be one door in your machin is open .more than more right door check it

u have to check the paper path sensor located in the door unit .and also check the fuser for paper jam

There is an actuator type sensor between 1st paper tray and reg sensor.sometimes a piece of paper gets stuck there. Open the door on right dude and shine s torch down u may c a piece there. If not go into service mode and do an smc print and identify sensor with jam and test it in input mode.

There mite be some paper dust on the sensor where the copier indicate the paper jam is. some can air mite solve the problem. Be careful to direct can air towards the outside of the copier don't want to blow the paper dust to a different sensor

Im assuming that you are referring to the Z as the jam light. In that case the operation panel will tell you what part of the machine is jammed by displaying a diagram and a letter that corresponds to a chart that you will see when you open the front door. make sure to open all the doors then close them to reset jam code (there is a hidden door on the right lower side called the A door) Good luck

Make sure the paper that is in the drawer matches the orientation and size indicated on thje Op Panel Display, If NOT, MAKE IT MATCH.

There are pressure release levers on the fuser --- if they are not in the correct position they will not apply the proper pressure and you will get jamming in that area. The levers are either a light green, light blue or plain black. They should be on the left and right side ( looking in at the fuser. Turn/ flip them and check.
