Remote My coby 224 remote control does not work.It won't do anything,I put new batteries in it..and plus I need to know how to program it..I lost the paper work,( well misplaces it)..So if there is anyone out there to help me..Thanks Teresa...

Apparently, the original remote is no longer available, but it always worth trawling eBay for used remotes. I've found many unavailable remotes for customers there. Remotes.com have a substitute remote available for $19.99 plus $7.95 shipping = £27.94 total.

Unfortunately, the dvd 224 doesn't have a volume adjustment. The models that do are the ones that come with 5.1 surround sound speakers such as dvd 755, dvd 937, and dvd 958 just to name a few.

I sucessfully programed the AUX button on my Cable remote to my Coby DVD player (model DVD-227) using code 21107. You can also try these codes: 20778, 21086, 21351.

I have a COBY DVD player TF-DVD7005 that hadn't been used in a while. When I charged the battery and the light went from red to green, nothing happens when I push play and the DVD doesn't spin. Could the battery be dead despite the green light and where would I get a new one?
