I bought my 7yr old son a Science Museum Lock N Safe money box for Christmas and he was so excited that he promptly put every penny of his savings inside it - he now wants to spend some of his money and we cannot find the manual anywhere to figure out how we open it for him.
Please help.
Here is the default code, start by pressing mode so you go into code mode, tehn turn the dial left to 0, then right to 1, then left left 0,then right to 3 then turn dial right and your safe will open!!!!!
0103 worked on mine as default code. Thanks Guys.
Turn the dial one way untill it says 0 then turn the other way to the number 1 then back the other way to 0 then the other way to 3 then the other way 1 notch and it should open
From a product manual found online via google, advice is:
You must enter a four digit code to open the safe.The preset code is 0.1.0.3.
This just worked for us...
If the taking the battries out for a while dosent work then replace the battries with new ones then type in the default code 0-1-0-3
If you have forgotten both the code and voice password the safe can be RESET by removing
and replacing the batteries back in the battery compartment. This will erase all the stored
information and safe can then be opened with the default code 0-0-0-0.
To change the code on a science musemum lock 'n' safe voice password safe first open the door push * then type the 4 digit code you wish then push # my girlfriend jacqui just did it so thank her !!!!!!

No manual yet. But i guess you can try calling or e-mailing for the manual to the customer care of "science museum" firm.Here is contact info.If this does not help too, then do post again.Meanwhile I'll look out for online reviews which i have'nt found yet.

got safe and can't get in battrys ran out geting rid of my code i cant get in couse lost manual and all my savings are in there
I would still like to know how to set a new security code... but to get the safe open, you just need to remove the batteries for a while then put them back in and the code should have reset to 0000 At least - that's what worked with our one!
