There should be a button marked "AUTO" press it, it acts as a toggle switch between AUTO and MANUAL operations.

Look for a button marked MENU on the camera, push it, and see what the options are. One of them should be to switch to manual. Otherwise, consult the manual (or manufacturers website) for more info.

XCAN'T FIND THE BUTTON TO RUN CHANNEL AUTO SCAN

First make sure that the Source is set to TV and a good antenna/coaxial cable is connected to the TV. Use the Input button on the TV (to the left of the power button) or the Input Select button on the remote. Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through the source list and press Enter to select that choice. (On the TV, the Input button is the Enter button.) Next press the Setup/TV Menu on the remote (or Menu on the right arrow button or Enter. Then go down to Auto Ch Memory and press the right arrow or Enter. With the up/down arrows, navigate to Signal Type and set that to Air (for OTA channels) or Cable with the left/right arrows. Now navigate to Automatic Search and press the right arrow or Enter. Wait for the scan to be completed.

I hope this helps. The steps are shown in the manual for the LT-19D610 on page 18. The manual is available from JVC on the product page: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?modelId=MODL028825 . The direct link to the manual is http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/01/47/J55D0221B.pdf .

Hi I inserted a new 8GB sd and the camera keeps trying to re-format. GZ-MC 200

There are no 8GB SD cards. A card that size is actually an SDHC card. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different. Many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

Unless your manual specifically says that your camera can use an SDHC card, then it won't be able to. The maximum size of an SD card is 2GB. If you need more space, just carry a couple of cards and swap them, like people used to do when they filled up a film.

I have a jvc gz-mc200aa I haven't used in a long time I charged the battery but when I tried to turn it on it asks me to set the time and date and turns it self off. How do I get it working again? Thanks

I think there's another factor that shuts down your system not the date. Check your micro HDD if properly inserted maybe something is wrong with it and the socket also the door that covers the Micro HDD and Battery has a switch, failure of such can lead you to this symptoms. Otherwise there's a problem with it that you need an expert to check. Good Luck

HOW TO DOWN LOAD FROM EVERIO MEDIA CAMERA gz-mc200 ek to pc

This will be, by far, the easiest way to transfer recorded images or videos to the PC. First, install the included Cyberlink software onto the pc. Attach the USB cable to the pc. Next, with camera turned on, attach it to the special connector (with the usb symbol) on the camera. The connector is located on the lower left side of the camera.(towards the front, under a flexible plastic cover). Let the computer recognize the camcorder and load the proper drivers. It will see the camera as another storage drive! Using your favorite media software(such as the Cyberlink) program, import pictures or videos from the camera. (i.e. choose the source--which will be the camera) and just import! Remember, the camera has an actual miniature harddrive installed in it, just like a pc. You can view, delete, move, transfer, any files on it just as you do on your pc. My God, do I sound that much like a salesperson?lol---happy viewing/editing!---Rick

JVC EVERIO GZ-MG175

I took camera to shop where I bought it and asked them direct, so they could show me what I needed to do.

I actually decided against using FixYa - not because I didn't think you would give me right information, but because of the cost - I'm on a pension only.

But thank you for contacting me.
