I can get a TV picture, a DVD picture, BUT I am NOT able to get a clear picture from my X-Box, PS, or Wii. I have tried every input, changing cables, etc. and so far nothing has worked. Any ideas or suggestions? The only code I come up with is 12, and I cannot determine what that is. Thank you.

Resolder the vertical output IC that should take care of your problem.

You should have everything you need. I really don't think you have to order anything. Make sure you have whatever set top box you are hooking up to TV on the correct mode or setting... 1080i 720P 480P 480i etc....If you have any other questions... email me back or hopefully this was enough to get you up and running. Good luck and Happy Holidays....Jay

The DM capacitors need to be replaced. Heres a link to the DM kit for your model which contains the replacement capacitors and instructions with pictures that show how to do the repair.

Do you have anything to test it in 1080i? Does it do it on all connections or just one? I had a similar problem with my TV that turned out to be a bad input board. Mine would only display 1080i through the Component connections. All others would show pink and green wavy lines. It cost me around 500 to fix it. Unplug the TV. Remove the back cover for the TV. Using a NON-metal object, or gloves, wiggle the input board (that has all the video connections on it) slowly back and forth and see if the problem comes and goes. You will have to have someone watching for you. If something is loose on that board, the problem should show itself. Narrowing down the problem will probably save you money on repair bills.

If you see separation of colors (red, green) in this wavey line most likely you have problem with convergence circuit. Two convergence amps have to be replaced. They located in a middle of the TV boards attached to big aluminum radiator and they part number starts with letters "STK".
I would recommend to let professional with this repair. Should cost you about $250-$300.
Regards.
