Seeking Owners Manual for Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse
I just inherited a computer and accessories. There were no user manuals. I've got things up and running but I have a few questions about the use of the wireless mouse. I'd like to find a user's manual but haven't had any luck. My main question is how can I disable the mouse when the computer is not in use so that it doesn't drain the batteries?
Thanks.
Microsoft does not publish a manual for their keyboards or mouse. Give a little more info as to what problem you are having and I maybe able to help you. Is it in reference to settings. Let me know. You can download the software of your mouse from this link. You should select "Wireless Intellimouse Explorer", and your operating system to find the compatible driver and software. You can see the the help file there.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like you need to update your mouse's driver, you will find the intellimouse 6.3 driver for Windows XP at the link below "IntelliPoint 6.3 32-bit for Windows XP".
I would disregard the pop up as in most cases the batteries are still good. I'd use the mouse till it stopped functioning. Why it does that I haven't figured out yet. I beleive a value has to be changed in the Registry. If I figure it out I will let you know. Bud
