When I enter a game without a catrieg,how do I exit that game?
Step 1:
Hold down the "L" (shoulder) and tiny "Screen Light On/Off Switch" buttons of the Game Boy Advance simultaneously.
Step 2:
Options menu along with "exit" appear.Step 3:
Select "exit" and press "A" button.

It could be a dead battery so you could get a replacement part from nintendo or ebay.if you dropped it its probably screwed up. SP's are sorta old so try getting a used one on ebay or send it to nintendo for repair.

is it definitely "any" game? Reason is that a lot of games are now suffering from flat batteries, the symptom of which is what you're saying, corrupt save data.
The only solution is to change the battery if thats the case.
