The E815 has a very poor design on the charger port. The cleaning that Solution #1 referred to is that Verizon cleans the contacts of both the phone and the charger using rubbing alcohol on a toothbrush to clean both the phone contacts and the charger contacts. I have to do this once a week or so to keep my phone charging. The rubbing alcohol dries quickly and will not harm the phone. Motorola has changed the charging ports on the newer phones because they recognize that they have a problem with this design. I have also turned in my phone to Verizon (twice) for a replacement. If you replace the phone be careful to record ALL your contacts because when Verizon transfers your contacts from the old to the new phone the speed dial numbers all get messed up because they start their numbering differently than you had it. I am still repairing my speed dial numbers. Hope this helps.
