The left side of paper has tiny black circles on edge. What caused them and can they be fixed? Thanks!
Two reasons: 1. cartridge 2. Trflon sleeve.
A.Check with another cartridgeB.Remove fuser assembly, check teflon sleeve surface,if its dirty or toner deposited on it replace it if you can or replace entire fuser assembly. Replacing the fuser assembly is user friendly. How to remove fusser: browse this youtube video link:

Look on the left side of the tray. There should be 3 white fingers that stick out. Make sure they aren't broken or out of place. Also slide the paper size lever and make sure they work properly. There is also a custom and standard switch. Try to print out of the MP tray(fold down tray). If it prints normal speed, you probably have a problem with the tray.

It could be either the paper feed assembly, part # RM1-0012, or the registration assembly, part #RM1-1098. These parts can be bought at TSAworld, phone # 1-800-633-6626

teflon coating on heat roller in fuser is coming apart. replace the fuser. also check to make sure the paper tray is set to the correct size. this means pull the tray out, remove all paper, look inside to make sure the arrow is pointing directly at the correct media size you are using i.e. letter or legal or whatever you are using. Good Luck! please rate this carefully.

Fuser sleeve is contaminated and needs replacing - cheaper to replace the printer.
