Wall Mount Sony SPP-A940?

I had a Sony SPP-A941 on a 2-stud wall mount plate... Message recording quality has degraded, so I want to use a Sony SPP-A940 that I inherited that has excellent recording and playback... What part do I need to wall mount? (The back of the 2 Sony phones is completely different and definitely NOT set up for my existing 2-stud wall plate.

How do you Wall mount a Sylvania LC370SS9 TV

If you have a wall mount kit, it is fairly simple. You just find the place that you want the tv to go and find a nearby stud to install the mount. After that you will want a second person to help with either holding the tv up or screwing in the tv to the mount. There are four screw holes in the back of the tv to screw through the wall mount plate into the back of the tv. Check to make sure it is stable, then you have successfully installed the tv to your wall

Flat Panel TV WallMounting Instructions
Currenttrends Flat Panel LCD and Plasma HDTV's are making TV's thinner, lighter andmore powerful. Superior high definition viewing, affordable pricing with addedspace and energy savings are only just a few practical reasons for purchasing anew HDTV. With newer thinner designs, LCD and Plasma HDTV's are ideal for wallmounting. Wall mounting your television frees up space and adds a new elementof aesthetic appeal to your home theater. Positioning Before getting into any hardware mounting, find the best possible position to mount your television. Because wall mountingan HDTV is more of a permanent solution, careful planning is needed whenintegrating the television into your home design.
Furniture placement, overall themes, viewing angles, and the best audiopositioning are all factors that will help determine the placement of the LCDor Plasma TV.
Once you have decided the general positioning of the wall mount installation, cut out a piece of cardboard or wrapping paper in proportion the of theflat panel television. Next, approximate the placement by taping the piece ofcardboard or wrapping paper to the wall where the TV will be placed and mark itwith a pencil.
Preparing the TV Removethe stand from the television and lay the TV on its face. Locate the fourmounting holes on the back of the television and remove the bolts. Next, removethe mounting arms or mounting plate from the wall mount packaging.
To attach mounting arms, line up the arms vertically and parallel to each otherusing the mounting holes on the back of the television. Make sure that they arein perfect alignment and bolt the arms using the bolts and washer supplied withthe wall mount.
If you are using a mounting plate, simply line up the holes with the mountingholes on the television. Secure the mounting plate with the bolts and washersincluded with your wall mount.
Preparing the Wall Locatethe studs closest to the desired position using a stud finder and mark themwith a pencil. Remove the wall mount from the package. Line up the wall mountup to the studs within the center of the marked position you determinedearlier. If it is not perfectly centered, wall mounts can be adjustedhorizontally at a later time.
Using a level, line up the wall mount and mark the positioning of where hebolts will go. Drill holes into the stud about 1" deep, drill bit depends on the of bolts supplied with the wall mount. Bolt the wall mountto the wall with bolts and washers, but don't tighten down the boltscompletely. Adjust the position of the wall mount left or right to center it toyour desired position. When you are done, tighten the bolts the rest of theway. Mounting the Television Attachingthe television to the wall mount takes two people. Simply lift the televisionand hook it to the wall mount. At this point you can further adjust thepositioning horizontally to center it perfectly. Once the desired position isacquired, tighten down the screws that attach the mounting arms or plate to thewall mount.

How to mount a conia CL3201HDR on the wall, no screws in box and not sure what thread size to purchase.

You need to purchase the wall mount separately. They range from a simple "on the wall" mount to swivels and extending mounts, and can be very expensive for the fancy features.

First, make sure your set is wall mountable. In the center of the rear of the set there will be a square arrangement of bolt holes. I do not know of any newer sets without them, but it does not cost anything to take a look and make sure.

Next, you need to decide on a mount. Personally, I did not want to spend allot, so I found a very inexpensive, yet good quality, "straight" mount at Sears for around $25.00. It does not extend or swivel, but all I wanted was to get it on the wall. Different screws and bolts were supplied with it and I was able to match up what worked for the back of my set.

Now, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!!!

You ABSOLUTELY MUST find where your wall studs are! This is CRITICAL! DO NOT use any kind of expanding bolt to mount your set or it will eventually come loose and FALL!

I had an inexpensive "stud finder" (around $10-15) to show me where the wall studs are... Sears sells them too....You want to bolt your TV wall mount to the studs using 1/4" stud or lag bolts (they look like oversized wood screws) for maximum strength, if your mount will accept bolts that thick. Also use flat washers on the bolts. If your TV mount has its mounting bolt holes too wide apart for bolting to a standard 2" wide stud, mount a 6X6" piece of 1/2 plywood through your wall to the stud, using at least 4 #10 deck screws...it may be overkill, but it will be secure... my personal saying is, "If I can't hang from it, neither can my TV!" This is critical if you want to use a fancy swiveling mount that extends out since it will add stress to where you bolt it to the wall.

My mount was in two pieces.... a section that bolted to my wall, after I mounted a piece of plywood as I described above. This piece has a large pin that sticks up, and the part that mounts to my set (with the screws provided by the manufacturer of the mount) has a receiving hole that slides over the pin. When I need to take my set down, I simply lift it straight up.

I hope my long-winded solution did not bore you, and I wish you the best in hanging your set. Please take a minute and rate my solution.

The studs in my wall are 20 inches apart and the wall mount requires them to be 16 inches apart. what do I do?

If I were in that situation I would fabricate a way to mount it using L brackets.
Using at least 2 and up to 4 L brackets of 2" in length I would drill one hole into the stud and the other end can be put in with a drywall anchor or other bolt-anchor type for your wall material.
I believe there are also wall mount types requiring use of only one stud...but don't quote me on it.

Trouble mounting cantilever wall mount bracket to Sony TV

Finally figured out the correct arrangement or configuration through trial and error (and my wife's puzzle solving ability). It sure wasn't clear in the instructions, and I could not get the needed information from the website of either the manufacturer of wall mount system or TV...a little frustrating, but perseverance paid off. Given the price of the wall mount, I would think they could do a better job.

How do I find the wall support or inner support in my wall? I want to mount a crt tv on my wall, I want to be sure it is completely secure.

there are a few ways. If u mean the studs in the wall just use a stud finder sold at lowes or tap on wall till you here and feel a solid sound. Tap a small nail through if u want to b sure. Also outlet boxes are nailed to studs. So tap on the wall near an outlet and u should find one fast. Then using a tape measure go 16" off that stud in the direction you want to hang the tv mount.most studs are in the wall every 16". hope this helpd

Pioneer wall mount

There are only two solutions to your problem. The first is to use another location. The second one is to take out the section of drywall and put horizontal braces between wall studs where you want to mount the tv. Sorry there isn't a simple solution.
