I had the same problem when i bought my LCD tv. Go to wal-mart and but the copnate wires and hook it up that way and it should work

The wires give a like High Def picture. the color of the wires are Red Green and Blue. You can pick them up at any electronics store. In America the price for the wires are $25 but I do not know how much they are in your location.

My ps2 has no color when im play games but i can watch DVD's with no problems

Hi, these are reasons or problems that can affect ps2 color.

Its the model games your downloading. the unloaded didn't upload it right.
The problem would have to be your PS2. When you modded it, the PS2 must have had something changed in it.
That thing that you changed may not allow it to read the color on certain PS2 games. You either have to buy a new PS2, or figure out what you did wrong when you modded it.

its something with the chip u used... i did the same thing and replaced it and im working fine now... u should think about getting magic swap... requires no modding to play station and i hear from people that it works well

The thing in the back that hooks up to the back of the tv or cable connection needs to be changed

This may sound stupid and completely obvious, but mine occasionally play without color as well. Try jiggling the RGB cable from the back of the console.

because its the way they made them the only difference is the type of film they use other tha that game play is still the same

go to game stop or a game shop 4 them to fix or it might be that your psp had been dropped or something that happened to it .

Hope it helps.

Some without colors and other games work perfectly fine

If you are not using hi-def cords or if you've tryed it on multiple TV's, then I would guess it is the video card (so only bad-graphiced games would work). Not sure for ps2, but ps3 video cards can be replaced for around $110.

Screen turns blank when i try ps3 games but ps2 games work fine

it sounds like your tv is being classified as insecure (some older models of hd tv as well as regular tvs do not always pass the "test" but will "pass it" on certin other occasions) it means that the ps3 may have determined that the tv can be used to rip the disk, if you are using hdmi try switching to s-video or composite. my ps3 did the same thing. I will try to remember how to fix it. untill then you can try my solution or try sombody else.

Poor quality picture while playing ps2 games?

i think you should try other modes too like pal and others or in many tvs there is a option auto so the tv automatically select the best mode of color itself.....

PS2 Half Green/Half Black Screen on powerup

I have had this happened when the PS2 has heated up my TV's color was going nuts. The color needed for the different games is sometimes too much. Let the TV rest for a while, then the TV, game should be fine.
