My lexmark z53 doesn't work .the power line failed suddenly ,when i tried to power it again the two leds "power and russume"were on adn flashing both every 1 sec.

I would suspect that there is something along the track that's blocking the printhead carrier from moving left. Do a visual inspection of the entire track area. Try ((very carefully - do not force)) moving the carrier by hand and check for a blockage.
If you don't find anything, try unplugging for a few minutes and then try again (powerline glitch?).

Please describe the status of the LED indicator. No LED would indicate a failure of the power supply. I can help you with that.
Flashing red would indicate a fan/lamp problem. Some lamps fail prematurely before the lamp hours are up.
If it is the power supply, no lights at all, I can get you running again. These units have fragile power supplies that can burn out with the slightest power surge. A UPS goes a long way to save future headaches.
It may very well be a connection issue with one of the wire connections as its not giving you a error code. I would double check the wire plug connections
well, what you could try is unplugging the power source from the cable modem, and the router. wait about 1 minute. then plug everything back in and wait.
i remember having this problem as well, but i think the problem with me was that my wireless computer was too far away from the wireless router, not saying that your too far or not, but that what i had, so i just pitched the wireless adapter, and created an ethernet connection. just sharing my experience.
