My Nintendo Wii isn't working properly, it always says "Unable to read game disc, refer to the Wii Operations Manual", so I've looked in the Wii Operations Manual and I've tried everything, and it still doesn't work. The blue light comes on and everything seems to be plugged in and working properly except when it comes to reading the game disc. Can you please help me?

Your disc probably has a few scratches, which is making it hard for the Wii to read the disc. If that's not it, then it might be that the game is WAAAAY to out of date, but I don't think that's the case here.
Your Nintendo Wii can not properly read some portions of your Game Disk. The probable reasons are dirt on the lens or CD, or scratches on the CD. Try cleaning the CD using a soft cloth and clean the lens of your Wii console using a Lens Cleaner.

You could try a 3rd party slot cleaner, or use the tried-and-true retro Nintendo console method of blowing into it.
How scratched is the disk? If it's really beat up, that might be the problem right there.
I had a similar problem before, and neither of my methods worked. I had to get it fixed by Nintendo themselves. Hopefully you don't have the worst-case scenario!
Ok,
as you may or may not be aware ssbb is a HUGE game.
So if your wii has ANY dust inside the disc reader at all then you cannot read the game.
Simply send off to nintendo for a free cleaning, and it should be fine.
Hope this helped!
If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another
disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either
Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be
repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that
will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives
information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems
Reference Fix Guide..
