Wiring diagram to connect programmable Thermo to Heat Pump

I purchased a Honeywell programmable PRO TH4000 thermostate to connect to a Rheem RQNJ series heat pump with back up heat coils. Neither the Honeywell operating and installation manuel nor the heat pump spec manuel gives a very good nor specific wiring for the 7 thermostat wires. The techinician where I purchase the heat pump was not much help either. (This shouldn't be this hard) I am not sure whether the back up heat coils are working properly and I had reason to believe below certain temperatures the compressor is locked out. The compressor is working at all temperatures, even at a below 20 degrees outside.

I don't know if this will be helpful or not, but I just installed a new Honeywell and the Honeywell customer service guy helped me get the wires done correctly. The number is 800-468-1502.

I have Honeywell Pro TH4000 series. The fan wiil not come on what do i do

Depends on what type of heat you have...gas, oil , electric, heat pump? Make sure it is the right thermostat for your heat source. Some thermostats have a switch on the back for fuel or electric.

I have Honeywell Pro TH4000 series. The fan will not come on what do i do

It really depends on the circumstances. Are you just trying to turn the fan to the "ON" position from the "AUTO" position? If that is the case, there will be a problem with the thermostat, wiring to the thermostat, or the unit itself. That would sum up a "thermostat" problem for the fan not working. If your trying to call for HEAT/COOL and the fan isn't coming on, that is another issue.
You can try to see if the G terminal is hooked up on the thermostat, that's going to be your "FAN" terminal. If it is connected, you will have to go to the unit and see where it is connected. At this time, we would need to know the model and manufacturer of the unit. Thanks, hope it helps.
