Kickstart bought son honda cr125 for xmas went on track for first time,it cut out twice third time he tried to start it the kickstart wont go back for him to ride it .it seems jammed can anybody help thanks

pull the clutch plates back out and reassemble in the correct order and sequence
best get a workshop manual to see how to do it and how to adjust when finished

no compression
has the spark plug come loose,
could be bust piston, rings or valves,
right googled it, its a 2 stroke no valves,
moving on, your have to remove the head and barrell to see whats gone, the piston or the rings. its probably the rings.
its not as hard as it sounds on a 2 stroke so even a novice could do it.

Sounds like low compression. Do a compression test,and it should have at least 90psi,..if not,its time to rebuild the top end..(piston,rings,bore)...pretty common for two strokes.

Unfortunately, there could be so many things wrong and none of them are good. If the top end is new, the rod bearing on the crank is the next likely culprit. You'll need to tear the motor down and see what went wrong. Good luck!

Hi,try the stator, may need rewinding.

i assume the MX is a 2 stroke engine ! Those can be tough at the best of times but let's get it going 1st...This is a tiny lite bike sooo,turn igntion on, shift into 2nd gear and push that little devil until she pops sputters and starts. Now only use premium gas, clean spark plug regularly and use a premium oil, don't overmix....run that baby out in the field for an hour to clean her out...good Luck to you friend...Tim
