Dacor mcs130s broil element does not work after I replaced it

You have a failed control, or valve. turn off the gas feed immediately. The fix is to replace the control or valve. Be sure you have the skill set if you are attempting to replace the control or valve yourself. A mistake could seriously hurt or kill you.

some units have internal fuses

sorry this is a common fault with them you cant fix it i have tryed in the passed

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

Follow wires & make sure they have not burned into. Tug on them at terminals. p.s. make sure power is off before doing this.

you need 220 volts to elements
try checking power to unit if its 220 replace board

I just got the same problem...but neither the bottom or top (broil) elements work. This started after a "clean" cycle.

Verify 220 volts of power to the oven. If 220 volts is present and all wires are in good shape, replace the electronic control.

Same problem how do I fix it?

like another person stated-from the front behind the door, take off the 6 screws and the cover by the latch. there is an "oven hi temp limit switch" It is crome with 2 heavy black wires connected to it. On the back side of this is a small red button which will reset the limit switch. I had the same issue (everything worked except the any of the heating elements) and quickly resolved.
