Disk stuck in my Blue Ray

Hi there , I have a Samsung Blu Ray 7.1 channel Home Theatre system and what a beautiful system it is too!! I just put in a brand new dvd disc in the drive and it doesnt want to return it and it is not showing any reading on the display except "loading" or "eject" when I try to eject. What can I do? Never had this problem before and it has always played awsomly!! We have had the unit for about 6 months.
Best regards Gary

I have the same problem. I love the system, but this is an annoying problem.

Hi!
I had the same problem, and I solved it by shutting down the unit and then disconnected the power supply for some sec. When re-connecting the power supply and pushing the start button the DVD was ejected when pushed the eject button.

Samsung HT TX500 won't play any dvd, just states that there is no dvd, or keeps attempting to load the disk (makes a loud whirring sound)

If the optical pickup(laser) cannot read the disk, it will in fact say no disk, as it doesn't see one there. For more information, or should you have more questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through the website. Thank you.

I have bouight a samsung home theatre system that comes complete wiht a DVd player - i also have a samsung blu ray player - naturally ithought they would be compatible!! how wrong i was!! the connections...

You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.

Optical input not working

Make sure you take the rubber protectors off the ends of the optical cable , put it from your tv into aynet 1 on the back of the blue ray then to hear the tv through the speakers select d.in 1 on the blue ray remote and press the mode button on the controller until you get matrix so you can listen through all speakers.

Blu-Ray disc stops playing after 20 minutes

New Blu Ray home theater player can not play new Blu Ray movies according to Samsung customer support. It is a JAVA code issue and they are working on a software upgrade. No release date is known. I tried playing The Hulk, Ironman and Wanted. None would play.

Thanks Samnsung for wasting my time and money!!!

I have no surround sound when watching normal T.V

Hi there, in order to listen to t.v you need to purchase an optical cable and plug this in the optical out of the tv to the optical in on the blue ray then select D.IN.1 on the blue ray and press mode on the remote until it says matrix . This will allow you to listen to the t.v through all speakers. hope this helps. Also remember to take the rubber protectors off the ends of the optical cable, a lot of people forget this :)
