Struggling with Sky remote codes for new Samsung TV LE32A457

Firstly you need to check if the sky remote is rev10 or later. Anything less will not work.
The code is 2992 or 3992.
My remote is rev10 and code 2992 worked.

1. Select any channel on the TV.
2. Point your Sky+ remote control away from the TV and press the tv button.
3. Press and hold down the Select and red buttons simultaneously on the Sky+ remote control until the red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control flashes twice.
4. Input the 4 digit number from the Sky+ remote control codes then press the Select button. The red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control should flash twice.
5. Point the Sky+ remote control at the TV and try the volume button.

• If this works try the other TV functions.
• If these work then the correct code has been selected.
• It's important to note that not all TV functions will be supported by the Sky+ remote control e.g. Picture in Picture.

If all functions do not work correctly, then repeat steps 1 - 3 and work through all the relevant 3 digit numbers from the Sky+ remote control codes, until you find the code which supports all or as many of the TV functions as possible.
Please note: In order to operate both your TV and Sky+ with your Sky+ remote control, you will be required to switch modes e.g. to switch on your TV from stand-by, you would need to press "TV" followed by the "Stand-by" button. Then to change channel on your Sky+ you would need to press the "Sky" button followed by the "TV guide" button.

Have you connected it Via HDMI? if the screen is still connected via Scart then that is the problem.

Sky High Definition SkyHD uses a new design of Slim line remote control. The Default TV code pre-programmed into the RCU is now for Phillips and is (0)065. The SkyHD RCU is programmed in the usual manner using either the instructions in the Digital Installation Manual or via the Sky Customer Service option in the Interactive on-screen menu.
The SkyHD RCU can also be programmed to operate Sky+ boxes as well as SkyHD:
Press the TV button.
Press and hold SELECT and i together until the LED flashes twice.
Press the number button 1 and then press SELECT.
(Obviously you can't have a SkyHD and a Sky+ Digibox both in the same room).
Note: To re-programme the RCU for Sky HD box operation only, repeat the above process pressing the 2 button in step three.
Keep pressing HELP and waiting a few seconds until you find the correct command that activates the AV source you require then press SELECT.
The HELP button will now directly activate the chosen AV source instead of toggling through the alternative options to reach it.
There are 18 AV source commands to be tried before the RCU blinks 3 times to indicate it is out of options.
The Sky Guide buttons (SKY, tv guide, box office, services & interactive) can now be directed to use the same AV source as the newly programmed HELP button.
Press SELECT and GREEN until LED flashes twice.
Press HELP then SELECT and the LED will flash Twice.
The Sky Guide buttons will now instruct the TV to switch to the desired AV source and the RCU will be in Sky Mode.

you will need the following = HDMI LEAD
Optical Audio Lead
Red and White phono Lead

Sky HD Box > connect to Tv via HDMI Lead.

Sky HD box > Connect the optical Audio, and the Phono Leads To your Surrounds sound.

The reason I am wanting you to connect the phono's as well as the optical audio out. Not all programs are transmitted with Dolby D so you will need these for normal sound to come through your surround sound.

One last thing I would like you to check is the sound settings on your Hd box.

OLD PROGRAM GUIDE:
On your sky remote. Press SERVICES, 4, 2, then ensure that Dolby D is displayed if not highlight and using the blue button change this to Dolby D. then arrow down to save.

NEW PROGRAM GUIDE:
On your sky remote. Press SERVICES, 0, Arrow along to SOUND then arrow down and change this to DOLBY D Then press the GREEN button.

Once you have the ver 8 controller - code 1176 should work

Easy peezy...just press TV on your sky remote,now hold select and the red button until it blinks twice,after it blinks twice enter this code ...1430....it sjould blink twice again,now press standby,it should turn your tv of,if it does press select to save these settings,it should now control your volume too,let me know if this helps

You will need to go to Sky's website and order a new remote if this doesn't work.

Press tv on the remote
press and hold Select and red until the remote LED blinks twice
type in 0 0 6 0
press power button on the remote, if the tv goes off press select and it should control all the tv functions.

if the tv does not go off press tv then power buttons on the remote and keep doing this until the tv goes off, then press select once the tv goes off.

Like I said earlier, if this doesn't work you will need to order a new/replacement remote via Sky's website then put the code listed above in.
