When recording through line in socket, sound goes through to the computer but no sound is recorded, when using sound recorder, please help,
You must configure the record system. Be shure if you virus, malware, had been penetrated in your sistem.
if the machine was working before recording, restore the system.

Depending on what soundcard driver you have, you may need to set it as a mic input.
Also, when you do get the vinyl/digital bridged, you'll need a way to record it. There are cards specifically for recording, which use hardware encoders - but if that's not something you want to shell out for, you need the software to record. Adobe Audition is a premier recording / editing system which would be your best choice, most likely. Unfortunately, it also costs quite a bit of money. Sadly, I do not know of a cheap or free recording suite at the moment.

Most recording programs have a some way to keep tracks in sync. It is usually some type of begining and end marker. When you press record for the second track it starts the begining marker. What is the program your using?
